BHANDUP;INDIA:Bhandup police had arrested a 25-year-old civic worker for raping and brutally injuring a 5-year-old neighbour's daughter on Thursday. According to police,the accused,Shivaji R Tilotkar,a cleaner with BMC and a close neighbour of the victim's parents always take the little girl to his house to play with her,and the parents never objected to this. However,on Thursday he took the girl to his house as usual to play with her,but instead,he took her to the mezzanine floor and sexually brutalized her. The girl was inflicted with multiple injuries to her private parts and started to scream in pains. Sencing the screams would alert people,he let her go. When her mother saw her crying she demanded to know what happened.The girl then told her of her ordeal. The parents then went to the police station at Bhandup to report the case. Tilotkar was arrested and police is investigating if he had committed similar act in the past.
