SAUDI ARABIA:The Civil Defence in Riyadh saved an Asian domestic helper from an apparent attempt to kill herself by threatening to jump from the sixth floor of a building. The helper was reportedly climbbed out of the room window on to the sixth floor of the Residential Complex in Al Midhar and stood on an air conditioning unit,threatening to jump to the ground. The authorities received the information of the suicide attempt and quickly dispatched a Civil Defence team and a negotiator to the area. The negotiator was able to talk the woman out of the suicide attempt. She was helped back to safty without any harm. However,police have started investigation into the matter.
