LAGOS-NIGERIA:The Lagos state police command has apprehended a house guard,Haruna Abubakar who allegedly murdered his friend and co-worker,whose name is yet to be made public. According to reports,the incident happened in Ibeju-Lekki area of the state. 28-year-old Abubakar and the victim who was a herdsman worked on a farm in the area.It was gathered that the two men were on the farm on Saturday when an argument ensured between them and it led to a fight. Abubakar confessed that he attacked the victim with a daggar which led to his death.He then chopped the body into bits and packed them in a sack and dumped them in a bush. The report of a missing person was filed the same day by the victim's brother,Adamu,when he did not reurn from the farm. Police investigations led to the arrest of the suspect who confessed to the crime and led the police to where he dumped the body. According to the state's police public relations officer,SP Dolapo Badmos who confirmed the incident,Abubakar will soon be charged.
