BENGALURU:A 31-year-old woman,Kusuma Rani Singla,a software engineer working with IBM was found murdered in her flat in Kadugodi,Bengaluru on Tuesday night. Singla,a divorcee who hailed from Punjab was transfered to Kadugodi six months ago from Noida. In a quick action,one Sukhbir Singh was arrested from a place near Gurgiaon by detectives. Police investigations revealed that Singh and Singla were friends via social media. On January 19,Singh had flew into Bengaluru from Delhi to met Singla.He was with her from 12:15PM till 3:30PM. During the meeting Singh was said to have demanded Rs50,000 and a flight ticket from Singla which she refused to give him. Angered by her refusal,he had strangulated her with a laptop charger cord. And after the murder,Singh had took Singla's ATM cards and chequebooks and also withdrew Rs11,000 from her bank account before fleeing to Delhi via Mumbai.
