MADRID:An American couple have been arrested by Spanish police after the decomposed body of a child was found at their apartment in the northeastern city of Girona. The child's body was found laying under several blankets in one of the bedrooms in the duplex apartment,police said. And investigators said the child appeared to be around seven years old and have been dead for around four weeks judging by body's advanced state of decay. However,an atopsy have be ordered to determin the cause of death which the parents had not reported. According to report,the bady was discovered when the owner of the apartment came by to demand for rent which had been behind on September. After ringing the door bell several times without reply and noises heard coming from within,the landlady then called the police. The officers noticed a strong odour as entered and therefore proceeded to inspect the rooms,one of which they found the decomposing body of the child. The couple had two other children aged 12 and 14
