NIGERIA:The Nigerian forces in bid to root out insurgency out of the country has intensified its fight against the deadly Boko Haram terrorists group in resent months. Most of the territories taken by the terror group have been reclaimed by the Nigerian and her neighbouring countries of Niger,Chad and Cameroon forces,leaving the terrorists with a pocket territory. According to the Nigerian Army spoksman,Sani Usman in a statement on Sunday said the Army engaged the terrorists in a bloody encounter in their Sambisa forest strong hold. He said three soldiers lost their lives in the bloody battle,while many of the terrorists were also killed and several captured. The Nigerian Army commenced deep attack deep inside Sambisa forest which is believed to be remaining strong hold of the terrorists with the supported by the Air Force. Many of the terrorists camps in various parts of Sambisa forest has been destroyed and many women and children held captive rescued. Weapons of various kinds also destroyed.
