rebels use human shield against government forces' airstrikes in syria
SYRIA:Jaish al-Islam which is a major powerful rebel group near the capital,Damascus has been figured out by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights as using scores of Alawites, men, women and children, captives in mental cages as "human shields."
According to the Observatory head in Syria,Rami Abdel Rahman the rebel group transport these cages to the expected government targets to nullify the airstrikes.
This trick they had used in Eastern Ghouta region in attempt to prevent government bombardment on their position.
Government forces regularly bombard the Eastern Ghouta area from where rebel groups fire rockets into the capital.
On Nov.30,about 70 people, including children were killed and 550 injured in government forces bombardment of Douma,a large town in Eastern Ghouta.
Natives speaking on camera begged government forces to stop sheiling Eastern Ghouta.
Abdel Rahman said most of the civilians were abducted by the rebel groups two years ago outside Adra al-Ummaliyah,a government held area.
