PAKISTAN:The killer of former Punjab chief minister Ghulam Haider Wyne,Zaman was on Thursday executed by hanging,close to 22 years since he committed the heinious crime at a political rally in Punjab's Mianchannu tehsil. Zaman,fondly called "Zamani" was hanged in Muttan Central Jail. In September 1993,Zamani murdered Wyne,who was a Pakistan Muslim League(PML)leader,and later rose to the position of Punjab chief minister in 1990. Five other death jail inmates were also executed at different prisons. Two prisoners were hanged in Rawalpindi's Adiala jail for murder. Zareen was executed for killing two brothers in Murree.And Rab Nawaz was hanged for murdering a man in Royal Artillery,Bazaar,in the garrison city. In Dera Ghazi Khan's Central Jail,two brothers,Ghulam Akbar and Hazoor Buksh were hanged for murdering two men in 1996. And in Lahore's Kot Lakhpat prison,an inmate,Abdul Sami was executed after his black warrant was issued on Tuesday,being found guilty of killing a man on minor issue.
