Islamic State is illegitimate-Al Qaeda leader
In an audiotape present on the internet of which time of recording is unknown,the leader of Al Qaeda fighters Ayman al-Zawahiri said Islamic State is an illegitimate movement and its leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is not recognised by Al Qaeda.
Al-Zawahiri stated that inspite of IS and its leader not recorgnised by Al-Qaeda,his followers can still join them in fighting the Western-led caolition in Iraq and Syria.
Islamic State had been founded by Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi a former commander of Al Qaeda that fought the Saddam Hussein Shi'it government in Iraq.
