Grandson of former South African president,Nelson Mandela,whose name had been kept secret,was arrested over the weekend for allegedly rapping a 15-year-old girl. The incident happened at a popular restaurant in Johannesburg in Greenside last Friday. According to the girl's family spokesman,the minor was visiting the ladies when the accused grabbed her and rapped her inside one of the toilets. When the girl's father learnt of the alleged rape he attempted going to the police,but he was intimidated by Winnie Madikizela-Mandela's bodyguard. Madikizela-Mandela asked the girl's family allow her deal with the matter. Instead,she sent her bodyguard,posing as a policeman to persuade the family not to arrest the suspect. The girl's father asked for his police badge,but he could not provide any. The victim's father went to the police and the suspect was arrested. According to Gauteng police spokesman,Brig.Mashadi Selepe,he said a case of rape had been opened against the suspect.
