Some numbers of Boko Haram terrorists in a convoy of Toyata Hilux and motor cycles laden with IED and gasoline made bombs stormed Babangida council headquarters in Yobe state,northeast of Nigeria. The insurgents were said to have attacked the town at around 6.30am,local time on sunday,hiting at the Divisional Police Station,the Secretariate Complex,telecom masts and houses. Babangida community is 50kms north of Damaturu,the state capital. According to the Dristric Head of Babangida,Alh.Isa Musa Gumcho,he said the terrorists also carried food stuffs,petrol and diesel. He said the insurgents first attempted to attack the community on Saturday night but were repelled by the military only to come back on Sunday morning. He said,the terrorists seemed starving and desperately in need of food,because they took away large quantities of food stuffs,and no casualities. Most of their supply routes have been blocked by the military who put up road blocks and carry out thorough check on persons and vehicles.
