Pakistan Taliban urges Muslims in Myanmer to take up sword against country's leaders.
The Pakistan Taliban has urged Muslims in Myanmer to rise up and fight against the country's leaders.
Spokesman for the hardline Jamaat-uL-Ahrar faction of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) movement,Ehsanullah Ehsan, said they "shared the grief" of Myanmer's beleaguered Rohingya Muslims minority.
Myanmer refuses to recognise the majority of its 1.3 million Rohingya as citizens and places a raft restrictions on them, such as family size, movements and access to jobs.
The impoverished western state of Rakhin has become a hotbed of tension between the Buddhist majority and Rohingya, many of whom live in displacement camps after the deadly unrest that enrupted in 2012 that left thousands dead.
