SAUDI ARABIA:Residents of Al-Mouatham in Taluk have cried out that some unknown persons hunting for treasure has decended on cemetaries in the town. According to the residents,many graves were dug up by the graverobbers,while exposing bones and skeletons of the dead laid to their resting place. A resident,Salem Alatwi said carrying out the act was easy for the graverobbers because of the walls built round the cemetaries. He therefore suggested that security guards should be deployed at the places to protect the sanctity of the dead. Odeh Alatwi,another resident also demanded that the height of the walls should be increased and barbed wire laid on them. Confirming the story,spokesperson of Taluk secretariate,Ibrahim Al-Ghaban told reporters that there are plans to fence the graveyards to deter the act.
