JEDDAH:In a statement issued on Wednesday,the Saudi Interior Ministry stated that a Syrian woman,Amani Abdul Rahman Khaled al-Dhaheek,wife of murdered Saudi citizen Ali bin Zaid bin Ali al-Othman and her partner-in-crime lover and fellow Syrian national,Yousuf Ali Ibrahim al-Wawi were executed on Wednesday. According to the ministry after conspiring with her lover al-Wawi,Amani stole her husband's gun and gave it to him. She asked her husband they go on a picnic and after convincing him,she led him to a remote area in the northwestern part of Riyadh on February 17,2014. As planed,al-Wawi turned up at the picnic spot and shot al-Othman several times in the head and chest. Amani repoting the incident,told police that her husband was shot by three robbers who attempted to rob him. But an eye-withness who saw the murder,told police it was not like robbery. Amani became a prime suspect and She eventually confessed. Al-Wawi also gave himself up to the police and took them to where he had hidden the gun.
