Nigeria records more income on petroleum after Jonathan's lose at the polls.
NIGERIA:The National Bureau of Statistics(NBS),on Wednesday released a fresh report showing how the Nigerian National Petroleum Coperation(NNPC)'s income soared since the defeat of ex-president Goodluck Jonathan at the March presidential elections.
Vanguard reports that NBS records showed massive income of 2.512 trillion naira from export of petroleum products since ex-president Jonathan's polls defeat.
It was also gathered that in the NBS reports,its Foreign Trade Statistics for the second quarter of 2015,also stated that Nigeria recorded total merchandise trade of 4.372 trillion naira and a trade surplus of 1.4 trllion naira in the month under review.
The above given amounts is about 56 per cent of Nigeria's 4.49 trillion 2015 budget and 5.75 per cent of the total merchandise trade of the country and 87.3 per cent of total export.
