The police in Bangladesh said they were formally going to press murder charges against owners of the colapsed factory building that killed more than 1,100 people in 2013.
The incident was said to be the worst industrial disaster in the history of the country.
The leader of the disaster investigation team,Bijoy Krishna Kar said the owner of the factory,Sohel Rana and his parents were among those to be formally charged over the disaster.
He said it was a mass killing and all the 41 people involved have a collective responsibility for the tragedy and if convicted all could be sentenced to death.
Sohel Rana attempted to flee the country days after the April,24,2013 tragedy,but was arrested at the western border with India.
It was said that the building was initially approved as a six storey shopping centre,but was illegally extended into a nine-storey factory building complex.
Kar said,Rana and the factory owners discused and decided to send the workers to their deaths with their cool heads.
